Centrifugal barrel pumps

Description and working principle

For light and viscous fluids a barrel pump is usually a kind of centrifugal pump, with a turbine at very high speed (up to 8000 rpm) which drives up the product. For moderately viscous liquids, there are models with screw. For very thick products the moineau principle is applied. There are also intermediate solutions for pumping and mixing simultaneously, the total pumping barrel pump etc are in different materials, plastic or metal, in different heights or depths, with pneumatic or electric drive, whether standard or ATEX. Rope gasket seals, mechanical seal or not to suit the application. Versions for the average industry and the food industry.
