The core of these pumps lies in their innovative transmission system. Instead of a traditional mechanical coupling between motor and impeller, the design uses a magnetic coupling. This system consists of two main components: an outer rotor (drive magnet) mounted on the motor shaft, and an inner rotor (driven magnet) connected to the pump impeller. These components are separated by a hermetically sealed containment shell, allowing the magnetic field to transmit energy contactlessly without requiring physical connection.
