Description and working principle
The multistage centrifugal pump consists of several stages with a centrifugal impeller and diffuser. The number of stages and motor speed determine the operating point of this type of pump used in high-pressure applications. For example in boiler supply, reverse osmosis, overpressure in multi-storey buildings. Their construction can be either horizontal and available in cast iron or stainless steel, or even mixed. They can be equipped with jamming braids or magnetic coupling. Sealed cooling systems are available for feeding boilers at high temperatures. They can be found in industrial and building applications.
